Board the bus and head to Cape Jervis



Pick-up from selected Adelaide Hotels between 6.30-6.45am.
Enjoy expert commentary on route as we head to Cape Jervis for the 45 mins
ferry crossing to Kangaroo Island. Once on the ferry enjoy a toasted sandwich
and a coffee from the Ferry kiosk (own cost) and then choose either a comfy
chair by the window or take the stairs to the top deck and feel the wind in
your hair as you enjoy spectacular views. If you're lucky, you might even catch
a glimpse of playful dolphins riding in the bow of the ferry. Get excited as we
approach Kangaroo Island.



 



Arrive at Penneshaw – 10am



Situated on the northeast coast of Kangaroo Island, Penneshaw
greets visitors arriving by ferry with its tranquil coastline, rolling hills,
and charming streets. As you hop on your Kangaroo Island coaster the
tour group embarks on a scenic drive through Penneshaw.



While we won’t be stopping this time, the picturesque
seaside town offers plenty to admire and some wonderful eateries to note for our
return visit. This quick drive will highlight Penneshaw’s natural beauty,
cultural gems, and tantalising food options, making it a memorable part of your
journey.



KI is deceptively large, and we have quite a number of KM’s
to cover over the next two days.



 



Cygnet River (Duck Lagoon) Koala Walk: A Wildlife Haven on
Kangaroo Island 



Our first stop is the Cygnet River’s Duck Lagoon 15-minute
Koala Walk, a serene and picturesque spot-on Kangaroo Island where nature
enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the beauty of native wildlife. This
peaceful location offers a perfect opportunity for your group to connect with
the natural wonders of the island. Famous for its resident koalas, abundant
birdlife, and tranquil surroundings, the Duck Lagoon Koala Walk promises a
memorable start to your wildlife adventure.



 



Relax and unwind in Kingscote: Free Time and Coffee Stop 



Welcome to Kingscote, the largest town on Kangaroo Island and
the perfect spot for a relaxing break during your tour. With its charming
coastal vibe, friendly locals, and an array of cozy cafes, Kingscote is an
ideal place to recharge and explore at your own pace. Whether you want to enjoy
a peaceful coffee, take a leisurely stroll along the foreshore, or browse the

Enjoy this stunning rustic property and enjoy a tasting
before sitting down to a beautiful platter lunch of local Kangaroo Island

Next is Emu Bay Lavender Farm, a
serene retreat nestled on the northern coast of Kangaroo Island. Known for its

Bay: Swim, Relax, and Enjoy the Beauty



Nestled
along the northern coastline of Kangaroo Island, Stokes Bay is a very hidden gem!!
Capturing the essence of natural beauty and tranquility. Known for its
picturesque setting, calm waters, and inviting atmosphere, it’s the perfect
place for your tour group to take a break, cool off with a swim, and soak in
the charm of this coastal paradise.



What
sets Stokes Bay apart is its natural swimming area, a haven for beachgoers
looking for calm, protected waters. The sandy beach leads to a sheltered lagoon
formed by a rocky reef, offering a safe environment for swimmers of all abilities.



Look
out for the many Dolphin pods that frequent the bay, and if you’re lucky they
might pay us a visit. Climb back on the bus and head to our overnight stay.



 



Parndana 



Here we have a chance to visit a unique boutique gift shop,
perfect for souvenirs and a quick refreshment stop before heading to our
overnight accommodation at Eleanor Downs Farm.



 



Overnight Stay - Glamping at Eleanor Downs Farm



Dinner



Arrive at our overnight accommodation. As the sun sets over
the rolling hills of Eleanor Downs, the evening comes alive with the
mouthwatering aromas of a traditional Aussie BBQ. Join us at the ‘Old Shearing
Shed’ the wonderfully renovated rustic centrepiece of Eleanor Downs. Here, your
tour guide prepares a feast of locally sourced meats, fresh salads, and crusty
bread. Vegetarian options are available too, ensuring everyone can enjoy this
culinary delight.



The BBQ is more than just a meal—it’s a social occasion. The
relaxed atmosphere invites you to share stories and laughter with your fellow travellers
while helping in the preparation of dinner as you sip on your favourite local
beverage. The flickering glow of the fire pit adds warmth and ambiance,
creating a cozy setting for this quintessentially Australian experience.



Accommodation



Options that blend comfort with the unique beauty of

For a communal and cozy experience, the four-share glamping bell
tents are a perfect choice. All contain single beds with comfortable mattresses
fitted with luxurious linen for a peaceful night’s sleep. For the more
adventurous guests wanting a more immersive outdoor adventure, you can opt to
sleep under the stars in a traditional Aussie swag. Roll it out on the ground
and fall asleep under the brilliance of a starry night sky.



If you prefer more privacy, you can upgrade to enjoy private
sleeping in your very own glamping tent. All sleeping accommodation offers
wonderful comfort. These accommodations provide a secluded space to retreat

equipped 'Old Shearing Shed' as you admire the fabulous views. Every aspect of
the morning reflects the wholesome charm of Kangaroo Island.



As you prepare to set out for the day’s adventures, the
tranquility of the farm stay lingers, leaving you refreshed, rejuvenated, and
ready to explore all the island has to offer.



Flinders Chase National Park – 9am



We're now heading to the iconic Flinders Chase National
Park. An absolute highlight of our Kangaroo Island Adventure and a must-visit
destination.



Showcasing Kangaroo Island’s rugged natural beauty and
iconic landmarks. Explore the stunning *Remarkable Rocks*, a dramatic cluster
of granite formations, and the awe-inspiring *Admirals Arch*, where playful New
Zealand fur seals bask by the ocean. Immerse yourself in breathtaking coastal
views, ancient landscapes, and abundant wildlife.



For adventurers, there’s an opportunity to take a hike
through the park’s picturesque trails, offering a closer connection to its

Seal Bay 



Hop on the bus and get ready for a fabulous day exploring
more of Kangaroo Island. Our first visit is Seal Bay Conservation Park. Offering
a rare opportunity to observe endangered Australian sea lions in their natural
habitat. Guided by expert rangers, you’ll walk along a pristine beach, learning
fascinating details about these remarkable creatures while witnessing their
daily activities up close.



From playful pups splashing in the surf to adults basking on
the sand after foraging trips, the experience provides a profound connection to
these incredible animals



Seal Bay is not just a wildlife encounter but also an
educational and ethical experience that deepens your appreciation for Kangaroo
Island’s unique ecosystem. It’s a must-visit destination for anyone seeking

Penneshaw 



Dinner (own cost)



Enjoy free time in Penneshaw as our final
destination before boarding the Ferry back to Adelaide.



You’ll have an hour or so to relax and
reflect on your Kangaroo Island wildlife adventure. This is the perfect spot to
grab a bite to eat, with plenty of dining options available (at your own cost),
Take a moment to stroll around the picturesque town, enjoy the views, or
explore the nearby beach. As we board the ferry for the journey back to
Adelaide, you'll leave with lasting memories of your unforgettable Kangaroo
Island Wildlife Adventure.



Arrive in Adelaide



Hop back on the ferry and return to Adelaide
at approximately 10pm.
